Aim: Understanding the type of data that can be reported from Microsoft Intune
The Intune hardware and software inventory is refreshed every 7 days starting from the date of enrolment.
Some of the information that can be readily retrieved from Intune are:
- Device serial number, model and manufacturer
- Network card IPv4 address and MAC address
- Operating system version and language
- Free and total storage space
- Compliance state (create policies to check for minimum OS version, drive encryption, antivirus, and so forth)
- Enrolled and last contact date
